Initiative


I LOVE my body- I love its full figure, it's classic appeal. I find it a powerful way to show myself love by improving upon an aspect that I'm already satisfied in.

I am comfortable, but I want to be proud.

This blog will serve as a wellness journal, for me. If any of you have questions/encouragements/want to share their concerns or similar experiences, I'd like to offer this blog as a forum for us to speak about how to improve our physical conditions, in a way that will make us more proud of who we are.

I'm going on a 30 day sugar fast- my abuse of this addiction has led to an impure consciousness, insomnia, restlessness, lethargy, and worst of all-fatigue.

If any of you would like to join in with my sugar fast for a clear mind, let me know!!!!

I'll also be improving my complexion, as it IS the one physical feature I"m really self conscious about.

That, and limit my computer use to one hour daily.

Today was officially day 1.
I'm going to start with all of the positive things I did to take care of myself and improve my health.

20 minutes of exercise
Washed my face with apricot scrub afterwards
Resisted cookies/tarts at Senior Sunrise
Took a 3 hour nap after school (that was the most delicious of everything I had today, BELIEVE ME)
Had 2 pieces of fruit
Drank 3 bottles of water

Where I slipped up:
Had a brownie
Had sugary yogurt for breakfast
Ate 1/2 a cookie with lunch

Where I can improve tomorrow:
More water
Run for 3 extra minutes
Sleep full night's rest tonight
Vegetables


Starting weight: 127
Ideal Weight: 115-117

We're going for total wellness, here. If it turns out I gain weight because of muscle mass, I'll be happy. I'm more going for loss of fat/toxins, and gaining of wellness and body pride.
